hehhe yeah that's a nice one :D
Still I think the honorable title "Starkiller" for you guys is also quite fitting! And this was at one point the name for the hero of Star Wars, before that was changed to Luke Skywalker. iirc.

Hi y'allz,
today I have to open up a task that really isn't fun. But it urgently has to be done and we're kind of running out of time, so I'll post it anyway. If everyone would do a little part, it's not that much anymore ^_^
And what it is about? You know these beautiful stellar Nebulas, right?
Of course we feature them in SS3D and for that, we take original NASA images and turn them into three-dimensional objects which look pretty stunning. The only problem is, for us to start out processing, we first have to get rid of all the stars in these images!
So, one has to use Photoshop or Gimp and use the "clone tool" to paint away all these little (and sometimes big) stars.
I have done 9 of these images myself and I think it took me two and a half days to finish those. Now, there are about 25 images left to do. Surely, I'll do some of them myself, but I definitely can't do all of them.
So if you think you can help me out, just give me a shout! You don't even have to do a whole picture, if you have trouble in some areas leave it as it is and just do what you can do. Then I or someone else can finish what's left.
You can also try it with these sample images, but please post here if you start any work, to avoid having two or more people doing the same work ;P
Errrm yes, well, thanks a lot in advance. I know it's not pretty work but the results will be great, and you will forever be remembered in the show's end credits (also on IMDb)
:D

If nobody takes it by then, I'd like to have a go with heic0515a.jpg
It looks like it'll occupy me for a good little while.
If anyone wants it before then though, go right ahead.
Best way to do this is get a comfy chair, a good mouse, and some nice music.
Solar System 3D > Hard Photoshop Labor! > Which images are still not done? by: Ronen Khazin
I'll take any image that's not done, and have a go with it.
EDIT: Right, having looked through the pages, nobody has done sig09-009.jpg, so I took that one, I'll post it when I'm done. The filter Dust & Scratches is really helpful.
EDIT 2: Here's my first version. Let me know how it is.

Awesome! The earliest I can do more work is Friday, but I'll see what I can do then. Seems my years of messing around in Photoshop are finally paying off!

Hi Johnny, I think Sanna is currently working on that double one, called the "America Nebula". Let's see what she comes up with...
However, I have just posted some really, really tough new images.... have a look at them, if you dare! ;D
