Press Roundup

Posted August 24, 2009 by Kalle Max Hofmann 3 Thumb-ups

Hello everyone,

last week we started our "press assault" and contacted numerous websites, blogs, magazines and even TV and radio stations all over the world... Asking them to drop some lines about Snowblind.

Obviously, internet media were the fastest to respond, so here's a little roundup for you:

io9.com:

bigdumbobject:

MovieCrypt:

Quiet Earth:

Of course the responses are mixed, can't please everyone ;-)

So now it's up to you guys to post raving comments on all these and other sites - if anyone has ideas who else could report on Snowblind, especially your local non-english websites and blogs, please tell us, or contact them yourselves! We could really use all the help we can get... so hit us with your ideas, suggestions and comments :D

Oh yeah and everybody join our facebook network, "favourite" the trailer on YouTube and drag everybody you know here to join wreckamovie and work with us on this fun project ^_^

Thanks,
Kalle-Max ^_^

OK. Might be best to do the BIG plans for the final trailer, but also good to think about what can done in between. Let's think about it.

Well actually the next trailer is kind of an intermediate until the final trailer is done - which is supposed to happen in early February, when the film will also be finished <(if everything goes according to plan)> hehhe. So we could also make the BiG plans for the final trailer...

I have lots of ideas. And sometimes it helps if it's a non-local person involved, all the way from Finland for example;-) And we position this as part of wrecking Hollywood, part of the revolution. Taking place all over the globe and Snowblind is a great example that it's happening big time in Berlin, Germany as well. Not a lot of time before Christmas, when do you think would make sense? Or should we give ourselves more time and shoot for something in January instead?

Kalle Max Hofmann November 16, 2009 14:14 Flag

Sure we're open for all ideas! Our own don't seem to work too well as last time, the media resonance was practically zero (at least from the traditional media side)...

If you do a new trailer, let's make it a bigger media event as well! I'm sure we can get a bit more visibility if we start planning and brainstorming it now.

Well... There'll probably be a new trailer for Christmas :D

That's a great start! Noticed the trailer is getting a nice number of hits too, great stuff! Let's see if we can get a bit more going;-) Still a few views needed on YouTube to hit a million...
