All over Europe, scientists are disappearing. The french secret service is investigating.
Ludwig, a young student, receives a mysterious package from his grandfather, a great scientist, containing encrypted plans. His grandfather disappears shortly afterwards.
Ludwig is pursued by gangsters who want to take the package from him. Luckily, he meets up with Emilia, a french spy, who is investigating the disappearances of the scientists.
In the course of the story, they discover that Jacob, a manic scientist, wants to use the discoveries of Ludwigs Grandfather and the other scientists to jump-start the first world war years earlier to kill off most of humanity so that he and a selected elite may rule the world.
They set out to stop Jacob and his plans.
