Theres also the effects such as explosions and the like they are generated with Cinema 4D's pyrocluster system

Yeah. Those riggings are hard to move from a program to another.

The main reason i want to stick to Cinema 4D and lightwave is you can get the same results and do the same things more or less a program like blender cant and all of the characters are rigged using C4D's xpresso system

Open source programs are freely available for anybody, and some programs like Blender are just as powerful as commercial programs. Anybody who wants to help you can just download the program and start modelling. If you use commercial programs and somebody wants to help you, he always can't do that because of the price of the commercial programs.

It's simple. Export them to .obj format for excample and import them to Blender.

i wouldn't know how to switch to an open source or know what it means for that matter all the 3D models are made in cinema 4D thats why were sticking to that program

Can't you switch to open source standards? It makes it easier to contribute.
