Final video released in YouTube

Posted July 20, 2010 by Kari Pihkala 3 Thumb-ups

The final video has been uploaded to YouTube so that those who missed the premiere (how can that be possible?) can also see it.

First, see the real Iron Sky teaser 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeAfoiN5SDw

Then, check Rust Sky 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dr-4X7Bf-zA

How come they have similarities? What's going on??

Thanks again to everyone who participated in the creation of this video.

There is a potential parallel universe!

Maybe it needs to be filled with parallel history, in proper situations, to remind us from the fact that ...ouch..never mind...

Premiere at Wreckamovie festival!

Posted July 15, 2010 by Kari Pihkala 5 Thumb-ups

So did you think this production has died?? Wrong!!

As a result of an inhuman production machine, the Rust Sky teaser trailer 2 has been finished!!

The premiere will be at the Wreckamovie Festival in Jyväskylä. Be there to see it!

If it receives bad reviews, it may end up in YouTube. Otherwise, the Wreckamovie festival is your only chance to see it!

Thanks to all who contributed to the production. You have been credited in the end!

See you all there!

I remember Jarmo and Antti laughing to tears because of it, actually... 8)

Kari, as far as I recall the first showing of the trailer remix package was sort of unannounced, it was because we had time to fill.

The second showing of the package had an audience that was expecting Iron Sky-related material, so I think they were more in the mood for IS parodies, and laughed more.

Awful, terribly, terribly awful... XD

Kari Pihkala July 20, 2010 16:03 Flag

I only saw the first trailer package at the Festival and not so many laughed there. I didn't see the second package where all you guys were. So, I just have to trust you. Perhaps it was so ridiculous that people laughed at it. ;)

Seppo: Thanks for all the negative feedback. A poster of "Potemkin" was considered to be part of the video, but our director of photography, Eisgei Serenstein, was against it..

You all have been credited in the end of the video, thanks for the help/support!!

I haven't even seen it yet, and I thought it sucked!

Peter Vesterbacka July 19, 2010 16:08 Flag

It was great, sorry, really crap;-) Get it on YouTube already.

And feel free to ask people to join Wreckamovie in it as well, we need help in reaching the next milestone, 10.000 wreckers (we just hit 5000:-)

Movie review:

POSITIVE THINGS:

- resolution
- sound volume
- colored film
- music score
- cheap
- communist ideas

NEGATIVE

- missing Marx&Engel&Lenin -pictures
- the length in minutes was too short for all the nominations for the big crowd making the film
- the theatre was dark
- could not swallow popcorn due to dry mouth
- too many freudian sex symbols in wrong posiotions on screen
- missing R-rated sign
- misleading seat numbering in the theatre
- no zakushka and vodka served during the film premier
- champagne was too warm
- kaviar was too salty
- cabbage soup was cold
- some moments were reminding me too much of Eisensteins film "Potemkin", but that may be my fault, not directors
- director did not perform any jumping with pogosticks or any karaoke-singing or any other form of entertainment to get my eyes of the silver screen
- the film sucks (me to another new dimension, new universe of space communists)
- people thought it was a comedy, but it is a dark human tragedy
- sibiria is teaching
- bratwurst had no mustard

OH! Er...

It was crap.

Total rubbish. ;)

Daniel Saarimäki July 19, 2010 13:50 Flag

Don't say it was great. Kari said that "if it receives bad reviews, it may end up in Youtube". XD

(null) July 19, 2010 13:28 Flag

It was great, I think it works best if you watch it straight after the second Iron Sky teaser so you can see all of the in-jokes. :)

Daniel Saarimäki July 19, 2010 13:07 Flag

So, is it coming to Youtube? XD People laughed there so much, that I can say it was bad enough.
