Just listening to it now. Love how the drums mark the rhythm naturally as to invite one to move forward. :)

Yeah, that's cool. It's a nice blend of mysticism and modern music with a serious feel. :)
Runnism, The Religion of Running > Identify and create the proper music > Just for the heck of it. Personally, I think the music that illustrates the Religion of Running is either rhythmic or classic. Few things motivate runners more than drums. And classical music give the proper context of a religion.
So what should I pick? And how can I ensure that the music is usable, from a copyright perspective, in all legislations?

Hi, I'm a composer and I have some music up on this site:

Sounds like what you want is something energetic, rhythmic and classical sounding. Have a listen and see what you think. Also copyright wise, you can use the music for your project if you buy it from the site. Cheers

Glad you like it! I've got a lot more individual tracks uploaded now, in a few different styles.

Runnism, The Religion of Running > Identify and create the proper music > "... either rhythmic or classic" by: Delphine
I would say: both.
I love running listening to film music (especially Hans Zimmer), remixes of Era such as those:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFHT6afIAmk&feature=fvst ( my favorite) or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03RAdZfFo6k&feature=related (but I find this one too fast)
and the classic almost everyone has: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFS4zYWxzNA&feature=related
I am sure you can find many of them!

Found it: http://remix.kwed.org/
There are some nice tunes to download for free (and legally). We might find something interesting there.

Well, it was just an example of the style of music we can use. I know there are some websites with free music for running, that everyone can download... I use to have one in my favorites, but I cannot find it anymore. I will try to find it again when I have time.
