You know, even if this series is aimed at beginners, those beginners will probably struggle their brains to understand everything.
It wouldn't be a bad idea to include YouTube's subtitles, so there's one step less to do for non-english speakers.
I mean:
1. Translate
2. Understand WTF is whatever it is that nerd is speaking about.
AND
One whole chapter for installing and upgrading things? Is Synaptic so difficult? Or will you explain the regular thing to install things?

I'd want to concentrate on the basic episodes, but I'm sure there could be a spin-off series of software episodes too if people want to make them. They would have to focus on software that ordinary people can use though?
