Hi! We're wrapping the film now... We ended up doing the visual fx ourselves, because we couldn't get any help from outside. See 'ya all when the finished film comes out! Thanks for the collaboration!
Hello ! Now we have a confirmed final deadline for all the Fx, sound, and other materials!
The date is March 9th and this means ALL the things on the project, including music, color correction, edit etc.
After we have all the material ready, we can give out the release date !
When have the movie out then we can move on to the subtitles. We're gonna put the movie out as a downloadable file, so that anyone can make subtitles in their own language ! We're gonna need some help there! We will hand out the english version of the subtitles to you, so everything you need to do, is to translate the subtitles to other languages...
UPDATE: We have confirmed that the first screening of the movie will be held at 23rd of March. The theater that is screening the movie is going to need a copy of the finished film a week prior that.. So this is why we're gonna need the materials a little bit earlier!

The problem is indeed the feeling of a real film... If you would've seen the project in color as a whole.. I tell ya, you would not be impressed.
The shots used in the trailer do look nice in colour... But some of the scenes which are not included in either one of the trailers or in the sneak peak pictures on the website look... well, frankly said pretty freakin horrible!
The problem is not the color as a whole. The main issue is digital grain, which you can't edit out, no matter how you try. The camera adjustments were not always right and not enough gain was used.
In some scenes with the colours, the film looks like a bunch of boys are running in a forest with a digital camcorder.. Of course, this isn't far from the truth, but in black & white and contrast corrections to it.. We could help this a little...
Thanks for your comment! We appreciate every piece of criticism ! In the end... we're still gonna make two different versions out of it, although the b&w scenes do look better.
We think that the modern viewer has used to the color too much. Everything has to be in fullhd, every shot has to be sharp, color corrected to the max, every sound effect has to sound professional and all the "filmness" has been removed from modern day films. That bugs me personally, a bit...
Some other filmmakers (actually a lot of them) try to copy out Hollywood style and how they make films there. Many young directors want to make the next Avatar and dream of making only effects heavy films, which look cool but have no content what so ever.
But, all in all... Trust me, we're making everything to turn this not-so-great-looking footage into a film looking piece of video. There's still a lot of work to be done here....
Over and out!

Keep the colours, please. But do not put that much colour correction into it. Make it feel like a real film in some way.

This is so you have an update of where i'm heading with this. The tracking is not quite where I want it, but its getting there.

You read my mind all of that. Yes, I agree less flash more transparency.. I was thinking about the smoke.. its not easy to see in darker areas. So i'll play around with that. Thanks for the info. And i'm plucking away at this one frame at a time if needed. :-)

Hey! It looks cool! I would still want to see a lot more smoke, and kind of hazy, slow, smoke that lingers around. The smoke applied now is good, but in addition to that, the other smoke could bring more realism.
The muzzle flash need to be a little less colourful and more transparent, if possible... :) But it's w.i.p. so I don't complain!
Thanks for the work so far, we appreciate it...
