Here is a motion trailer I made for the release of the last series of the My Sister Saga. You can see the potential when the characters are in motion I think.

As you can see I used a mixture of photos and 3d animation. Ithink this would be a neat idea but I am open to suggestions

There is horrible pixelation in the character. And stuttering movement. Or maybe it is the style you are after? Also the background and thee character are on whol edifferend levels of color richness, should balance that for more appealing visual appearance.
