So as some of you might have noticed. After one and another, for no apparrent reason (atleast to me) None of the chosen Narrators have send in any recordings, the question must be raised.. To do sub-sub-par ... or not to do at all? (fixed :D) Is it of any worth to do sub-bar this thing (meaning, to use any ... just any narrator). Or not complete the project at all and admit failure?

for a second there I was wondering what you meant, the word you mean is actually sub-par, not -bar... but in the context of a (limbo-) bar being lowered, it also makes sense once you think about it ;P Returning to the not-so-pleasant topic, do you really think you have to write that last guy off entirely? Maybe he just doesnt have time atm... Also, doing something later doesn't mean to not do it at all, and I think a project like this is never a failure as a lot has been learned. So let's just wait for a bit longer ^_^ One important lesson I learned from Snowblind is: We should've been more patient, then we hadn't lost so much money. Oh well ^_^

Been 11 days. Not quite full 2 weeks, but .. any updates? Or has yet another VA disappeared from the charts. (I am starting to think that this task is either Cursed, or someone is playing dirty)

Had a quick look, will do proper read through over weekend - but think it is doable. Will chip away in 3 min segments over the next couple of weeks - give some alternative reading/takes of lines for your to choose from. If you can give feedback along the way then I can refine performance to what you want need?

I shared the audio script for that address. You think you can pull it off?
Stuart Blackbourn gave a shot "Still looking for narrator?" for Materia - The awakening

After very unexpected events on the behalf of VA's, the project is still without Narrator. Should you feel up to the task, give a shout. Meanwhile i am turning over to the tertiary backup to see if i can get her (thats right, a woman) to do this task. Bellow is the copy pasta from the original tas: (should following message seem odd, its because i just copied it from another forum) **Description:** Since the "film" project did not finish (not yet anyway). It felt stupid to make all that all ready made material go waste, so it was decided to be turned into Audio drama, since even the dialogues had been recorded. So what essentially is only missing, is the narrator. What is that i am looking for: A narrator, who walks the audience thru the story. He or She must have clear voice and relay tension and feeling thru just speaking. There are very little requirements for this. If he or she (the narrator) has a "corporate authority" touch on his / hers voice, that would be concidered as big bonus (as the narrator turns out in the end to be part of the story itself, a member of this mega corporation). The narrate might contain strong words. (the exact narrate script is still being worked on) Please do contact my email for auditions to samuliD0T jomppanen Åtgmail , or post them as shots here. Recording quality: Good / Excelent quality at 48KHz (real material will be submitted as WAV, but the auditions can be sent in as Mp3). Name audition files in terms of yournick_M2ABaud.mp3 or firstname_lastname_M2ABaud.mp3 (Ogg is fine too) Should you need example line, read the one below: "And so it all began, simple system error in the murky depths of the facility was infact the first sign of the horrors to come." Thanks -S

If your still looking for a narrator, I have a Cascadian accent (Northwest Coast North America), but can British, Aussi, German, French, and Russian.
Let me know and I can send another project that narrated for a few years ago.
Cheers.

Yes I am very interested. Do you have a script/scenario you could get to me?
