I'm not really a graphic designer, but I gave it a try on some vector versions to paint on props or stuff. You may need to alter those a bit depending of the surface, like in those tests.

Carl, I agree, but I'm trying to make it as easy as possible for people to comment on videos. Nothing is easier than just clicking the play button on an embedded video.
