Welcome aboard

Glad to see that our community is steadily growing, we've got 30 members here already, as well as a growing following in Twitter and especially Facebook.
I spent most of today writing welcoming messages to our current production members, I'll do my best to welcome new members as soon as possible from now on. Was again amazed how wide array of talent and professional experience we have here in WreckAMovie - we'll have to plan some nice tasks for, for example, the sound and music people we've already got.
I would again like to thank you all for your great attitude, interest in our production and the growing amount of great shots for our current design tasks. Let's keep it up and show everyone that this new social way of making things work is not all talk. :)

In less than 24 hours we already have 20 members in our WreckAMovie production, a good handful followers on Twitter and over 170 fans on our Facebook page. Big thanks to WreckAMovie and the great people at Energia Productions for promoting us and all of our new members for participating in our community! We had our expectations high from the beginning, but we are still suprised at the multitude of different talents available here in WreckAMovie.
Our first task has already drawn some very fine shots from the community and now two brand new tasks are up!

You might have heard that someone was already making a game based on Iron Sky - that's us.
We are looking forward to working together with the WreckAMovie community on a game that will mirror the enthusiasm and creativity seen in Star Wreck and Iron Sky -movies. We, the people behind the production, are fans of the movies as well as gamers, and we have no intention of making another half-assed movie-based game that limits itself to retelling the plot of the movie. Rather, we want to tell a story of our own: one that is related to the one told in the movie, but can also stand on it's own.
The first task is already up, and so are our brand new pages in Twitter and Facebook (links attached). Welcome aboard, based on the quality of shots in we've already seen here in WreckAMovie, we believe that the community here can provide us some great insights and help us make an even better game.

Angela: Thank you! Very glad to hear that my enthusiasm comes across as charismatic rather than intimidating. It's easy to be warm when you like what you're doing, and this is very much the kind of work I prefer. :)
Spencer: Certainly, you've already earned that much. I'll also write the SS-guard you asked for in the game. :)
Nice to be on board! Hope to see my name in the Credits after I beat the game! ;)
Always nice to join a new production, especially one with such a charismatic leader as yourself. Thumb up for the warmth and the effort of making each of the contributors feel appreciated individually. This is going to be a fantastic game, I am pretty sure! :-)
