That's genuinely hilarious and the humor of it is manifold. I wish you could use that as the tagline, but it's doubtless most people would misunderstand. In my heart this will always be the true tagline to Iron Sky.

The amount of ignorance or downright stupidity shown by these two informs me greatly of the fact they have not been schooled in the traditional way or they ignored the history lessons. One of the biggest reasons the Nazi's took over Germany, and Benito Mussolini took over Italy was because those countries were poor, and the world itself was suffering depression. League of Nations failed because the U.S. wasn't in it, and had no strong power to enforce what it desired. Like when Japan, Italy, Russia, and Germany just thumbed their nose at the League and left it, without any repercussions except verbal, which amounted to the buzzing of bees. If patriotism, imagery, and scape goats, as well as a book named Mein Kampf "My Struggle" never been a part of the 1920's-1930's as well as the fact that the Allies took so much money from Germany, with no end date to the payments. It was inevitable that the oppressed would fight back, and would be very very mad...

Can't wait for the great film, showing the extremist Nazi's attempting to get their.... vengeance. Comedy, of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Last Crusade, potential should be had. Hellboy original sort of Nazi's, but with no super-powers, except that which technology can provide. Iron Men... from the Moon, returning to overturn the table at which they lost the poker game long ago by showing their cards of biggotry and hate.

The funny thing though is, that they are meeting one weak spot in Filmmaking. But before i comment on this i just want you to be sure, i am neither national socialist, racist or whatever. I am more of a black gay jewish Klansmen for tolerance. (If you don´t know it, google it *G*)

Germany has been shaken for about 60 years by so called inherited debt, there are also many non-Nazis that are kind of "pissed" that it always goes like, the nazis, the germans, the white people...

@Thomas The movie is not yet in post production, the shooting will start in the spring of next year in Germany.

as i think that the story follows the diary of admiral byrd, it is nice to no, that these old conspiracy theories are still active. but how the hell did they manage to drive with an old zuendapp on the moon without flying away...? LOL - i have read, that this is pure comedy, but some guys from germany still wants to believe in. could be a nice idea to fly with "haneby" or "vril" faster than ever and i know, that the allies stole many kind of stuff after the end of ww2. perhaps they have one in area51..???

btw: german wikipedia shows in the profile of götz otto, that this movie is in postproduction - is this correct? i am sooooo curious...

As long as Iron Sky has the same kind of spirit as the Indiana Jones films, it should be fine.

Just as something you caan point out to those people, yes the NAZI's did good, and yes the NAZI's did bad, and yes, alot of German sdoldiers were not NAZI's, but the way I see it, Iron Sky is about either SS or some other extremely, EXTREMELY NAZI people who believed that their exact cause, with all the massacre ec. is the only way. So really, Iron Sky isn't a fiom depicting Nasdap or Nat. Soc. as bad, but Rather the extremism NAZI as bad.

6 billion people on the planet. Oh well, what can one say. Getting through email must be fun.
