It's bad that I don't remember whose ideas these are, but basicly...

Recession is bad. Many people and business suffer. Etc.

But this is not only a bad thing since recession purifies the economic landscape. It exists to destroy business ideas which do not work or are not really needed.

Recession should be seen as an opportunity to put more shots on renewables, economic sustainability and efficiency. It should also be a point where the laws of the economy are readjusted so that there will be no recession for the same reasons again.

Humanity develops through dialectic - trial and error. Then again, it is a different question whether this is now going on or not.

It's good to take the "real people" along to make the program more approachable.

The problem about "the ultimate shop" for example is that it really cannot so easily be made better than it already is. The format might fall over it's own ambition.

I think it would be good enough if this was made from a more journalistic point of view with a problem -> solution narrative. This seems to be you're idea as it is.

You should first interview the housewife on a problem pre-known to you and then head on to find out what kind of solutions already exist or are coming in the near future to counter the problem.

I think, that the present idea relies too much on the idea that innovations are easy to produce and brainstorming always works. This might prove to be a problem in production and can be easily be avoided if you do not rely on this too much.

You could still make the big breakthrough in the end, where the Innovation is applied in example in an actual hypermarket (if that's where it fits).

It disrupts me that I don't really know what you're doing with the ideas you're collecting here. Some kind of a tv program, but is it only an early idea or is there real money involved already? Is it just being planned or is a pilot sure to be produced?

This lack of information is especially bad because this is an All rights reserved. production. I myself for example am afraid of letting go of the products of my medium-size, basic Finn intellect.

Rights of the Innovators might similarly turn out to be a problem which one should think through.

I'm innovating an upgraded version of the travel planner already used for example in Helsinki (http://www.reittiopas.fi/fi/).

Most people know where they're going to go during the day and with how many other people.

In the new Whole Day Travel Planner you could input your rough planned itienary, and the program would calculate the best ways of doing it with different alternative ways of transportation - and calculate it's cost.

You could include estimated times to find parking, expected trafic jams, gasoline (and public transportation) costs and carbon footprint. This data is available, just needs to be collected and integrated.

I'm sure in most cases, the car would end up being just slightly faster, but way more expensive and unecological.

It is time to bring a new philosophy to provide better future for mankind.
