Eyes in the Dark > Festivals? > Vimeo awards One of the prime drivers behind this short is to try out the festival scene - hence the emphasis on the ten minute mark. The big target is the HP Lovecraft festival and a few local festivals are asking for entries.
What other festivals do you guys know of that might fit the bill and want to show EITD?
Yes, I'm on withoutabox but not had much experience so any suggestion are welcome!

I'm a booker for an indie festival in Sweden. Unfortunately, we won't be having any festival this year, but we probably will next summer, in the town Borås. The festival generally features a mixture between performances, spoken word, workshops, music and movies.
Another thing worth trying might be the Drop Dead Festival, which is very much a music festival, but i think they've featured some films aswell. The theme of the movie should be right up their alley. They move from country to country every year. Talk with Polina about it (her mail can be found everywhere on their various websites).
Eyes in the Dark > 3D Space Scenes needed! > Timing by: Hannu Hoffrén
A timing test. This has three compositions combined, the beginning, the middle and the ending. Their transitions are not perfect and especially the middle part is early wip. All ideas & comments appreciated. :)
edit: version #2
Smoother transitions + Jupiter. Still some jaggies in movement. Also, needs some variation to the background such as suggested nebula (milky way centre) seen at the beginning.
edit2: version #3
All renders now at full 1080 resolution. No more jumps in the camera movement.. I think. :)

Great!
How's the bubbling chaos thingie working out by the way? Should I try it too? If you need to describe it more detailed without spoiling, just send me an email to hannu.hoffren@gmail.com. :)

That's amazing! Let me send it to the editor to see how it fits in - might a need a second or two on each end.
Thanks so much!

Ok, I'm pretty happy with the new version #3. Anything there that feels like it should be changed?

I just setup a volumetic cloud. Tweaked the settings, with some random shuffles to get the look I liked. I found a tutorial on how to make a bunch of stars fast in Carrara. Tweaked what I did from that, then tweaked the lumination and colors of a few of those stars. Oh and some animation effects with the stars.
It took time to get it to look good, but simple to make.
I may play with it more to see what other colors I can add and maybe even other smaller clouds.
