Call me old fashioned, but for me 'City Lights' the movie by Charlie Chaplin is just my favorite love story of all time. It's a simple story that goes a long way and the closing scene is just fabulous and deep. It's genius!

Maybe this is very unusual, but for me it`s the love story between Rocky and Adrian. One of my very favorites! There is so much fragile stuff between them. Very touchy!

the love he experienced was so great, he went through it again, knowing the end result would be his death.
so, the story, working backwards would involve something along these lines... the love of his life ends up killing him, but he's given the change to go back and try and change it, but to change it would ruin the love aspect.
as far as comedy, something along the lines of the nic cage flick where he wakes up in another life, with kids etc.

while i was watching this movie i thought that robot is going to get in love in a bug...
...I was very disappointed when story line went to another direction...
This is my first idea...(Short synopsis)
We should make a movie about love between two totally different species survived in post cataclysmic world.
Planet earth...Darkenss...peopple s hate destroys everything...At first we can t see that any thing has survived...There is a endless street and flying papers,news papers,commercials from with we can get hints of what happens in the past witch made this world as it is now.Camera follows one of the "flying" front pages...saying " Sun has abandoned as"...pages sticks on a big egg some kind of machine.
Something turns on the mash in...
Some weird female creature...looking more like a human...is getting out...confused...don ' t understand what is going on,and where she is...hi don't feel much of a fear or pain...she is just like a giant baby stuck in that ugly body...She is trying to open another "eggs" ...machine s are inactive ...
For days she is walking through that darkness world...She is trying to find any sense of his existence and the world in witch hi has found...She is trapped in the dark world in which she is not aware.She don have any knowledge about the world in present and past days...She has only some
short symbolic memories when she is dreaming...Witch is a light motive in this movie.
As the time passes she is starting to get some exact feelings...
All movie we feel her loneliness , more and more...That is very important.
Until one night ( there is no days in this world)...while she was searching the world...she went deep in the ground...she found another living being...it is a male...creature...not human...more like a alien...From that point story line goes to another direction...they are starting to share that world...They are not using dialogue,they are communicate with gesticulations...There is nothing in this world except for her and him...
Despite their apparent physical differences the have a common desire for a light...hidden in the dark...Love get into them...and under some circumstances they are trying to get the top of some far away giant building ( empire state building ) with the top goes beyond that dark clouds.That was there goal...
This story is like Adam and Eve living together ... in underground world.Only difference is that everything material from them self's to the wicked world has hellish nature...darkness is what exist around them...
Their love is making that darkness disappear...

DEAD AGAIN > The Search for a Logline > DEAD AGAIN As we all agree, IRON SKY has the best logline ever. DEAD AGAIN needs a good one too. Give it a shot, the hunt for a new logline starts now.

the whole idea is of course that Bruno is dead, a ghost, and is in love with Anja who is still alive and well. You can also think about a logline that incorporates the fact that when Bruno comes back to life he has to DIE AGAIN because Anja died in the meantime. Here's a short summary of our movie:
Bruno, age 35, is an animator on the Home Shopping Canal. His rather dull existence has made him a little cynical with the years. After having turned down for the 3rd time the charming Anja, he unexpectedly looses his life and realizes that the afterlife is surprisingly more pleasant than he had ever imagined.
To get a ticket for paradise, the dead have to "pay off" their sins by working as ghosts on Earth: opening and closing automatic sliding-doors, changing the TV-channels when users click, etc.
In the meantime, Anja moves into Bruno's apartment and he slowly starts to fall in love with her. Together with his ghost friend Peter, Bruno tries to come back to life. When he finally succeeds, Anja suddenly dies in his arms, before he has time to announce his love for her. To find Anja again, he will have to die yet again…

DEAD AGAIN just got money from Suissimage to finish our Treatment. This is great funding and makes us a lot more independent. A good treatment will help us to get money for script writing...

Genre-Mixes are of course very welcome, so don't just think PRETTY WOMAN or WHEN HARRY MET SALLY, think mixture formulas where Romantic Comedy meets Mobsterfilm, Roadmovie etc.

Pushing Daisies:
Not a movie, but what an amazing romantic comedy / dark comedy. Such a great love story, such a tragic romance, so funny and clever.
Ned can bring dead things to life with a touch. Unfortunately, if he lets them live longer than a minute, something else must die in their place. Even worse, if he ever touches that thing/person again, it will die permanently.
Ned finds this out as a child when he brings his mother back to life. This has the side effect of killing the father of his childhood sweetheart Charlotte "Chuck" Charles. Chuck then moves away to live with her aunts. That night, Ned's mom dies, permanently, when she gives Ned a good night kiss.
So, Ned has the power to restore life to those he loves the most, if he is willing to pay the price of murder, and he can NEVER touch them again!
We meet Ned again as an adult. He makes pies, and helps a private eye friend solve cases by waking the dead (for less than a minute) to ask them questions.
One of their cases turns out to be Chuck (his childhood sweetheart). Ned wakes her to discover her murderer, but cannot bring himself to kill her again. Someone dies as a result (luckily a bad guy). Chuck and Ned fall head over heels in love, but as a result of Ned's gift/curse, can never touch each other.
There's more to it (Olive, the waitress at Ned's pie shop is secretly in love with Ned : Chuck must hide her identity and never see the aunts who raised her again), but that's the basics of the show.
