Darkseer
I'm in the middle of post-production right now and my target is the end of 2010 for the rough cut. Thanks to Tony and Matthew for offering their music. I'll contact them later when I'm working on the final music track. That's it for now. My only suggestion to WreckAMovie is that people ask to become members of productions only when they can offer concrete, creative examples of their work . Everyone has an opinion on how to do something but few can actually back it up by sending you examples of their creative solutions. I guess musicians have the advantage in that area. :0) Cheers,

Hi Matthew: Sorry for taking so long to get back. I'm closing down this post because I've completed all the work. I like your orchestral pieces and I can see using compositions like "Darkness" and others. I'll contact you once I've made a decision. thanks,

Hi Tony: Wow, another great creature sequence, thanks! I'll experiment with this in the current scene and try morphing between the two. There are two more scenes where this could work too including the climax. I was just wondering if you could make one more variation of your first creature using my last comment notes. Raising each arm at slightly different angles would be cool. I've posted three frames from your first animation which show the creature's expressions. I'm using these in the shot morphing to different chroma-keyed versions. When I've finished a first pass of this sequence I'll post the Toonit rotoscoped version so you can have an idea of the look of the final film. Also, I'm open to ideas on any cartooning effect. Cheers, and thanks for bringing the creature to life in "Dark Seer."

This will be based on the rotoscoped visual style used. Once the source film is completely processed it will be edited to delete old shots and insert the "alien creature." This could include "video painting" on the original processed film. Since there is a strong psychological horror theme to the script the creature should be more of an "energy entity" trying to break through from an alternate dimension. Think of the unseen beings in "Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind." I've attached a small example. I'm open to anything that looks like it crawled out of a nightmare.
