Publisher likes the wreck-a-book Son of Man

I've had the first meeting with my publisher, he's read the preliminary script of The Son of Man, and likes it.
The first draft of script is far from finished, with some chapters still looking like this: "[Here a flashback where the main character learns about X and plays some C64.]" But there's enough material to get what the book is like, what it's about, and so on.
I've got some good commentary on the book from the publisher and a writer friend, and keep working on completing the first draft whenever I have time. I keep trying to come up with new ways to collaboratize the writing, but it's difficult while keeping hold of my strict auteur principles. The next collaborative project will definitely me less personal so it will have more room for new ideas and strange twists.
