I was thinking about a star like Madonna. debuted in music industry as 20-24 year old, and is still in the starlight today, 50 years old.
Is it possible to make this script running for many years??? leading actors growing old throughout the story escalates and possibly culminates in a horror ending???
Opportunity to show that talent and IQ can make a person stay popular longer than "one-hit-wonder", possibly put in other moral promoting things in the script, about growing older and wiser???
but then you will need a very detailed antagonist, perhaps hire Dennis Hopper or Jack Nicholson for that? :)

Well not necessarily for that many years if she meets the correct people in the right timing and place etc :D and just my opinion but i think it might be funnier if the character is young teen (around 15-16 or something). She can be a child star and then gradually she gets the taste of the criminal world and by the time she is about 15 or 16 she is a true "criminal" or something. I think that this movie should definitely be a black comedy or something along those lines but definitely a funny movie. And I agree with the idea (that someone wrote somewhere) that the ending should be kind of bad for her or something, but still funny in black humor sense :D

Yeah, Madonna definitely comes to mind when reading the description.
I'd be a bit nervous about a script linking an Italian-American to crime as that's a stereotype, but she is definitely the one pop star who fits the description on the front page. No one else is so obsessed with power and control.

It is so fun that you liked it, and then there is another member here, Anna, that I do not know, and that she also had some similar ideas, it seems, i would like to read her input/feedback too.
I have some more notes that could fit her somewhere.
But, here is a big decision, you wrote: "there is one who is as brilliant as she "
Did you have in mind the other character that I have started to plot out, in the "random bits and pieces" ???
It all depends on the plot line for the script, i guess. If she needs a powerful counterpart/nemesis, or if that male character, with his quirkiness and scenery, is wasted in this project. ???
Just my first impression, i might change my opinion later, if you have better ideas than me on how to progress.

You know the script has to run for several years, a criminal network isn't put up in a year. And discovering it neither, especially if you only have a computer, hacking skills and little money.

No I made that one up myself, and I didn't find your other character. Could you give the name of the task, because I think I looked over it.

But it all depends on who is the target audience.
Is this going to be a fun and ironic film for teenagers that like to watch high-school-musical?
Is this going to be a dark psychological thriller?
Who have got a clear concept? should we pop every idea of storyline into a big bowl and then have a vote?

I was thinking of something more dark humor, thriller could be added to, as the one who knows about her plans actually is on the run for her murders. something like that.
