Apocalypse > Apocalypse > less makeup, more dirt! At the moment we are scripting, looking for ideas, looking for shooting locations and generally just playing around. Any ideas or very much appreciated.

Taking place shortly after the apocalypse, i have a feeling people wouldn't neither have a good chance to be hygienic, neither care as much as normally. In other words: Less nice makeup, more bad hair-day-hair, dirty hands, clothes, face, etc.
I think that would let the audience take one step more into the world you're creating. Little details, great quality.
Apocalypse > Story ideas & characters > Graphics One of the most important aspect in any film are the characters. Who are they, where do they come from, what do they want and how they interact. We are thinking about an ensemble piece where we have a group of 3-4 main characters. One of them would be emphasised slightly more than the others but they would all be important to the story.
Any ideas about post-apocalyptic societies or characters are extremely welcome. We're looking for conflicts and drama so any background for the characters/world is of extreme use to us.
We are basically adrift at the moment with our script and ideas so we need any help we can in getting ideas for a story and characters.
