The story so far: Writing is a bitch. I tend to scare everyone that tries to help away with my very strict vision of what I want this film to be. Earthgov needs to be reformed, and the scene of earth society with it. However, the writing task now has what should be adequate info for people to effectively participate: http://www.wreckamovie.com/tasks/show/441 Having solved the UV unwrapping of the alien ship I soon realized that it wasn't done. Now I am having trouble unwrapping a simple square thing. The UV unwrap protocols in blender needs some work or I am doing something wrong. Could be either. Anyway, it means a bit too much work is being spent on something that should be easy. I have finished a drawing for the opening sequence and gotten started the second one. (See the storyboard image attached the concept art gallery task.) Do you think I should post the finished drawing in the concept art gallery or should I wait with unveiling some things until the film is done? Earthgov needs to mature. Without loosing their role. And I find it hard, so I once again point to this task: Redefine Earthgov; http://www.wreckamovie.com/tasks/show/854 Maybe I need to make "The wrong alien to upset" more mature as well. For Earthgov and the main characters I am trying my damndest to not make them too simplified. Maybe it's as easy as downplaying the total annihilation part. I am thinking that maybe they would just do what the main characters might end up doing anyway. (Story ending not set in stone yet.) Take their technology from them and bring them back to the middle ages. It would be an interesting irony, that what they initially set out to stop becomes exactly the solution they themselves use, in the end. |

Blenderartist isn't good page, and that boog is a little bit messy. I think we know everything, that is needed but it's still annoying. Blender don't have the right tools to make those things easy.

UV problems are soooooooo annoying! Maybe you should post that to Blender developers...
