Dear Wreckies! In our movie the fan community carries an important part so it is crucial to know where around the world Bud Spencer Fans are located. Please write us below whether Bud Spencer is famour/(well) known in your country or not. Maybe you can add a film poster, picture of you and your fan stuff or further information about his popularity in your country. Thanks a lot for your help! "Be Bud of it"

Hey Guys !

I've been a life long fan of this awesome duo too. Actually, I have all their movies in my collection, found the dvd's and video's (yes, you all read it correctly : video's :-) all over the world thanks to Ebay.
"Double Trouble" is my favourite, where the duo has a couple of super rich twins they need to replace for a while. Great movie !
If I can be of help on this project, give a yell ! This is a fantastic project in the making if you ask me.

Regards,

Curt

Probably I won't tell you anything new when I say that Bud Spencer and Terence Hill absolutely ruled Germany when I was a kid (in the 80s). Their movies where on TV all the time and I also remember seeing new ones in the theater with my mom; one was where Terence Hill was a pilot and the other was solo Bud Spencer in some kinda science-fiction where he was an alien with a kid or something... Absolutely loved it! Or in other words: Awesome project, guys :D

You mean because of my authentic Bud Spencer hairstyle? ;P Recently I talked to some friends about creating a "Bud Spencer vs Chuck Norris" fan video... but I guess I just don't have the time at the moment ^_^ BTW: How's the "Man Called Spencer" project progressing?

Hey Sarah, I know where I can ask about the clip..there are two difficulties A) most summer vacations are starting about now and I would think this especially concerns archive people. What's your schedule? B) I don't think there's much visual material about the Olympics 'cause the tv broadcasting started here in 1955 and I would believe that most of the filmed material is about Finnish athletes and probably some foreign curiosities. But definitely worth checking out. I'll be in touch. If you want mail me specific info, try juuso.rasanen@yahoo.com, anyway I could need your contact info.

Hey Juuso, yep, Bud Spencer took part in the Olympics in Helsinki. For the film we'd need some archive material and of course a clip showing Pedersoli swimming on account of this event would be awesome. Which film archive in Finland could I contact for that? Do you have an internet address, phone number, contact person, etc. or could you check it out for me? Definitely Paul Smith&Michael Coby's films will be a part of our documentary. It is very interesting that they adopted the whole Spencer/Hill style :) Thank you for your help and information!

I too grew up with Bud & Terrence.
But I had to sneak into my dad's room, anmd sometimes climb in through the window. Our national TV sucked in the 80's, and he had the cable-box.
He used to say TV will rot my mind, but it taught me to think outside the box (and where all his hiding places for the keys are). XD

Hey guys!

Thank you so much for your numerous posts!
Great to hear that Bud Spencer movies are well known and still shown in Finland. We didn't expect that much enthusiasm about it. The German translation is for fans the most funny part of the movies and very unique. In which language do you watch Spencer/Hill films? Finish subtitled, in English or even a nother language?
