Mhm, not a bad idea, but everything we broadcast at the moment is already there...from various sources. And yes, Star Wreck was the first movie we played :)

Maybe you could upload some of the shows to Youtube. So we could see at least some of the stuff offline.

Yes, we are broadcasting from 18.00 until 23:00 CET because of our technical limits. Well, the next ploblem is that we have only 250 available client connections and first 2 days of broacasting we have received plenty of messages similar to yours because our sefver was filled to its limit. Please be quick and patient until we might solve all problems. Maybe the Ustream will be the only solution xD

Doesn't seem to work. Or do you broadcast only in certain hours ?

Romanian RAS

Posted December 15, 2009 by Dario Odobasich 2 Thumb-ups

I don't know where to put this one so I'll put it here:

http://software.radiodj.ro/page/faq.html

It is about collaborative RAS making (Radio Automation Software) based on MySQL and under CC licence. Worth to see what are Romanian enthusiasts doing nowadays :-)

Just one so far. Don't know about any other movie-specialized radioshow in the neighbourhood...or any other non-commercial net radio

Cool. Maybe we could get some more collaborative radio shows going;-)

First...er...second test is going on!

Posted December 03, 2009 by Dario Odobasich 4 Thumb-ups

The first 5+TV streaming test in 2007 was made on Windows Media Encoder platform driving on Win XP. It was stable but seriously slow.
The second test is driving on Linux with french Videolan. In early VLC versions we had some problems with playlists. When 1st file playback ends and 2nd file playback starts, the client side losts connection to stream every time, even we had set "Keep stream alive" option. We'll see what happens in new VLC issue. More to come....

Seems that every single file in playlist MUST BE transcoded to the same "container" and the same resolution, e.g. 640x480 but there are some minor problems which we must solve. There are still some unwanted gaps between played files. More to come...
