The moment of 5+TV Broadcasting start ceremony is nearby so here's the Promotional Clip which will be played several times during first few weeks. And of course: nice job folks and thank to all of you for ideas, suggestions and good work.
This clip is originally in Croatian so I translated it briefly just for the information what is all about :-)

Thanks Angela :-)
And it was very simple to (post) produce it. Unfortunately, which is a very bad shame, the software Ultra 3 which we have used to make all those tricks is abandoned in further development for more than 3 years ago.

Brilliant! Well done Dario and all the others, this looks amazing!
5+TV > 5+TV Promo clip greenscreen shooting is done > 5+TV Promo Clip There was a lot of fun for kids during shooting of greenscreen parts of 5+TV Promo clip. They had a chance to see themselves during a session in realtime preview so they were able to correct their standing and moving positions.
Well, a harder part comes: the editing. I tried to make 1st and 2nd part of clip and I have some keying problems, obviously because of unappropriate lighting. Must admit that we are absolute rookies in amateur greenscreening because this was our very first attempt to do something with two 500 W industrial halogen reflectors and one 100 W halogen light on camera.
Srecko and me (the "fathers" of 5+TV) were feeling like Samuli and Timo in 1999. when first Star Wreck tests was made. But unfortunately, we haven't enough time to experiment.
Does someone have any advice for keying? Possible corrections in AE? Just a single word from Master Samuli perhaps? :-)

The trick to a good key is often masking various areas and keying slightly different shades rather then trying to get it all in one go.
also a lesson to for next time is to have them take a step or two forward and loose the shadows.

5+TV > Clear logo > 5+TV logo OK folks, is there any CG artist who can make a clear logo from this one by Ivan Kokov but without bacground? I need it for some stills for programme telops...

Hmm really? That's actually quite good because for keying, DV is much better than HDV because it doesn't compress so hard. Still its 1:7 which is quite something. But maybe there is a menu option called "crisp" or "sharpen"? This should be turned off or to zero / lowest level when shooting stuff for keying...
