This is the retelling of the story of the Prodigal son. the setting is modern times and the genre is a christian film with a message. A son reaches the age he thinks he should inherit his share of the family fortune. Only the father doesnt think his son is old enough to handel the money wisly, but to keep his son happy he gives it to him anyways. this angers the other son. The younger son takes the money and with in a year has wasted it all on crazy ventures and drugs. The younger son is now homless and ashamed to go back home. The older brother sees him and offers him a meal and tells him how he upset his fther. the younger son gets upset and leaves. after awhile of living on the streets winter sets in and he is forced to seek refuge in a homless shelter. there he meets a man that shows him the path to god and convinces him that if his father is a strong christian as he says he is he will forgive him. the younger son goes to his father and begs forgivness, but befor he can his father embraces him with love.
