Pitch: What if someone discovers that he has created a whole new world?
One liner: A ship builder sets out on a journey to find out what has happened to all the ships he has made.
Outline: The surreal story about carpenter Goth (45) who lives on the seashore on an island. He builds ships all his life never knowing what is happening to them after he sends them adrift. The island is covered with black crooked trees that bear no leaves.
One day Goth sees that a ship he has created long time ago comes back from the sea. The wood of the ship has “grown” out and now the ship looks as if it is live trees float upon the water.
Goth, who has never seen leaves, sails off to see where the ship has come from. He comes ashore to a land that is made from all his ship; they have stuck together, got covered with moss and leaves, grass and trees. The island is inhabited by people. Goth tries to teach the inhabitants his woodcraft but local church leader forbids him to do this (believing that Goth is an infidel) and crucifies on a cross, positioned on a boat.
They send him adrift and he comes ashore on the island that is made from boats with executed and crucified men. There are crooked trees growing on this island. As Goth explores the island he finds that it is his own place where he lives. Surreal journey is over.
