For the first time in history, there will be a bid party, a competition between two cities about who is going to organize Finncon 2012. The bids will take place mostly at Finncon 2010. The competing cities are Helsinki and Tampere and there will be a vote (this much I know has been agreed on) about this matter during Finncon 2010 in Jyväskylä.

The aim is to make a hoax bid with proper websites and marketing through the convention (giving handouts, talking to people and just being damn sure we're going to win). The point is that there is a "third" competitor - the Nazis. Their goal is to get Finncon 2012 to be organized on the Moon, on the Nazi Moonbase.

There is a small group of people who are behind this but now we need your imput. We need people, we need ideas and even graphics. Energia has promised we can use Iron Sky graphics and the Guest of Honours have been somewhat discussed about BUT there's lots to do. Especially in Finncon in 2010 where we'll need people in Nazi uniforms giving out handouts etc.

Because this is a hoax, we want to fool as many people as possible or at least have this come as a surprise. Please don't talk about this in public or post this anywhere apart from this site, thank you
