And White Was The Night is a film about making choices in extreme situations. It examines how the choices we did or didn’t make in the past affect the present.

The film is set in the shady world of an international crime organization that reaches all the way from jungles of Colombia to suburbs of Finland and Russia. The story follows the fates of Antonio and Maria, two young Colombians, who come to Finland in search of better lives. Instead of future prospects they realize being caught in the middle of the organization’s internal struggle for power.

Finding themselves in a foreign country without friends, money or passports Antonio and Maria are forced to fight back to survive. They have to face the dangers of the underworld but also their own traumas and nightmares of the past. The events unfold during one turbulent day and a white summer’s night.
